What makes Sleuth different than the databases I already subscribe to?
Most biopharma databases cover the same underlying structured data that Sleuth does — drugs, trials, companies, targets. But structured data represents only a fraction of the Sleuth knowledge graph. The majority is unstructured: 70M+ publications, 2M+ corporate filings, 500K+ sell-side notes, conference posters, earnings transcripts, and more — sources that traditional databases don't ingest at all. And even where the data overlaps, those databases deliver it as fragmented data dumps that require heavy manual synthesis.
Sleuth combines structured and unstructured data into a single layer, adds broader market coverage (e.g. China pipeline data) and early-stage signals before they show up cleanly in databases (private biotechs, emerging modalities, pre-readout trials), and delivers decision-ready outputs (tables, landscapes, models, memos) with clear sourcing.
How do you prevent AI hallucinations in clinical data?
To ensure high-stakes decisions are defensible, Sleuth grounds every query in a curated biopharma knowledge graph rather than relying on statistical guessing. Our system maps over 100M+ pre-linked entities before a query is ever asked, ensuring relationships are based on verified facts. Accuracy is reinforced through domain-tuned embeddings that let the AI interpret scientific jargon and fuzzy terminology (drug aliases, indications, trial endpoints) correctly. Confidence is maintained through a human-in-the-loop verification layer that validates low-confidence extractions and resolves ambiguous entities. For audit-ready transparency, every claim includes citations linked directly to primary source material, down to the exact page in a filing or conference abstract.
How does Sleuth compare to other AI tools like ChatGPT?
General-purpose AI tools rely on broad web retrieval and often produce plausible-sounding answers that aren’t defensible in technical biopharma workflows. Sleuth is purpose-built for biopharma and runs an agentic research workflow that mirrors how analysts work: it retrieves the right source material, extracts structured facts, cross-checks against known entities, and then generates decision-ready outputs with citations. Sleuth also provides enterprise-grade security: your sensitive strategic queries and internal data are processed in a private, audit-ready environment and are never used to train third-party models.
To what extent can I customize the strategic logic used to evaluate markets and assets?
Sleuth allows you to define and iterate on the specific metrics, weighting, and scoring frameworks used by our AI agents to ensure evaluations align with your organization’s unique investment criteria. Unlike generic databases with fixed filters, you can define your own filters (e.g. technical probability of success, commercial white space, regulatory feasibility) to score and prioritize opportunities directly in the platform. You can build bespoke evaluation matrices that apply your proprietary scoring logic to hundreds of indications or targets simultaneously. Furthermore, by securely integrating your own internal data, the platform’s reasoning remains tailored to your specific strategic reality and constraints rather than relying on public consensus.
Is my internal data incorporated into Sleuth's output?
Yes, you can securely fuse your private data (R&D insights, internal pipeline decks, proprietary market models, etc.) with Sleuth's external intelligence to generate bespoke strategic responses. This integration creates a unified knowledge base where our AI agents reason across both internal and external data, ensuring that all findings reflect your organization's unique context and strategic reality. Your proprietary data is protected by data storage isolation and granular access controls — your data and strategic queries are never used to train or fine-tune AI models. The platform retains context to improve results for your team only, not for other customers.
How does the concierge team work?
Our concierge service is a fully optional service designed to extend your team and handle complex strategic surges. Each concierge license enables one active managed project with Sleuth (human) analysts at a time. We integrate deeply and flexible with your team - you can request fully custom analyses via email, Slack, or Teams, and our team will deliver executive-ready deliverables. Because our analysts are using the Sleuth platform, we deliver results significantly faster than traditional consulting engagements.
Can I setup API access to Sleuth?
Yes, you can set up API access to Sleuth to tap into our biopharma knowledge base and research agents. The API allows you to make calls from your own orchestration layer, facilitating agent-to-agent integration via an MCP interface for seamless data piping and real-time signal injection. All API calls operate within your organization’s private, single-tenant environment to ensure that your automated queries and retrieved data remain isolated and are never used to train external models.
How does pricing work?
Sleuth is priced as an annual license per seat for unlimited access to our web application. For teams desiring higher-touch support, there is an optional fee for concierge licenses, each of which allows you to have one active managed project at a time with Sleuth analysts (unlimited projects overall). Enterprise organizations have the option to bundle seats and concierge support into a single discounted plan.
